Add a Business License Type

Adding a business license type involves creating a name and description of what the license is for or what it covers.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Case License Type security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.
  1. From the home page, click Permitting and click Business License Types.
  2. On the Business License Types panel, click Add record.

NOTE: Multiple records can be added or edited at the same time. See Perform a Bulk Export or Bulk Import for more information.

  1. On the Add Business License Type panel, enter a 50-character (maximum) name in the License Type field.
  2. Enter a brief explanation of the license category in the Description field.
  3. Click Add or Add and New to add the license type and create another one.
