Configure GIS Data on a Case Template

You can use map layers to display specific information from a map layer on a case's Summary page. For example, by selecting the PARCELS map layer and the OWNER_NAME field, you can make the name of the parcel owner appear on the Summary page of a case.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Business Case security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.
  1. From the home page, click Permitting and click Case Templates.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. On the Case Templates panel, select a template.
  2. On the GIS Data panel, click Add record.

  1. Select the Map Layer using the drop-down list.
  2. Select the Map Layer Field using the drop-down list.
  3. Click Add.
