Remove a Checklist Status Group

A checklist status group may need to be removed.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Correction Status Group security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.

IMPORTANT: Trimble strongly recommends that you do not remove a checklist status group if there are any records associated with it. Instead, make the status group inactive to preserve the historical data associated with the status group.

  1. From the home page, click Permitting and click Checklist Status Groups.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. Click Edit on the far right of the checklist status group.
  2. Click Active to turn it off, and click Save.

If no historical data is associated with the checklist status group, remove it from the Correction Status Group panel.

  1. Select the desired group and click Delete selected records.

  1. Click Delete on the Delete Correction Status Group panel.

If there are any statuses associated to the group, you cannot delete the group and must remove them first.
