Contractor Fields
The following fields are found on the Contractors page.
NOTE: Some fields have visible character max limits. The first number is the current count of how many characters have been used. The second number is the max characters allowed in the field.

The following fields display on the Contractor Detail panel:
- Enter the contact information—Contractor Name, Description, Address, City, State, Zip Code, Contact Name, Cell Phone, Office Phone, Fax, Other Phone, and Email for the contractor.
- Contractor Number: Enter a reference number for the contractor.
- Provides Labor: Select to indicate that the contractor provides labor to your organization.
- Provides Equipment: Select to indicate that the contractor provides equipment to your organization.
- Provides Material: Select to indicate that the contractor provides material to your organization.
- Locally Based: Select to indicate that the contractor is local.
- Federal Tax Id: Enter the contractor's Federal Tax Id.
- FMS Number: Enter the contractor's FMS Number. FMS stands for Financial Management System.
- PIN: Enter the PIN for the contractor's FMS number.
- Registration Date: Enter the date that the contractor received their FMS number. Double-click in the field to enter the current date and time, or click the calendar icon to select a date and time.
- Minority / Women Owned Business Enterprise: Select the check box if the business is minority owned or owned by a woman.
- Comments: If desired, enter any Comments about the contractor.

The following fields display in the Labor Rates panel:
- Amount: Enter the amount that is used in conjunction with the Rate Type to calculate the contractor's labor rate.
- Rate Type: Select Hourly, Fixed, or Per Unit.
- Select Hourly to calculate the labor cost by multiplying the Amount by the number of hours.
- Select Fixed to assign a fixed labor cost that is assigned whenever this contractor is selected.
- Select Per Unit to calculate the labor cost by multiplying the Amount by the total number of units.
- Overhead Rate: Enter the rate that is used in conjunction with the Overhead Rate Type to calculate the overhead cost of the contractor. Leave this field blank if overhead is not applicable to this contractor.
- Overhead Rate Type: Select Percent or Hourly.
- Select Percent to calculate the overhead cost as a percentage of the contractor's labor cost.
- Select Hourly to calculate the overhead cost based on the number of hours the contractor worked.
- Overtime Factor: Enter the number by which to multiply the pay rate for any overtime work. This is set to 1 by default, meaning that the regular rate applies to overtime work.
- Emergency Factor: Enter the number by which to multiply the pay rate for emergency work. This is set to 1 by default, meaning that the regular rate applies to emergency work.

The following fields display in the License Information panel:
- Licensed: Select if the contractor is licensed.
- License Expiration Date: Enter the date that the contractor's license expires. Double-click in the field to enter the current date and time, or click the calendar icon to select a date and time.
- Type of Work: Enter the Type of Work that the contractor does.

The following fields display in the Insurance Information panel:
- Liability Insurance
- Amount: Enter the coverage amount.
- Certificate: Insurance against claims of loss or damage for which a policyholder might have to compensate another party. A certificate of liability insurance is a document that indicates coverage amounts, carriers, and policy effective dates.
- Effective Date: The policy effective date.
- Expiration Date: The policy expiration date.
- Workers' Compensation
- Amount: Enter the coverage amount.
- Certificate: A form of insurance that provides medical care compensation for employees who are injured in the course of working on a project.
- Effective Date: The policy effective date.
- Expiration Date: The policy expiration date.
- Automobile Insurance
- Amount: Enter the coverage amount.
- Certificate: A statement of insurance coverage for cars, trucks, and other road vehicles outlining the insurance benefits and principal provisions applicable to the member.
- Effective Date: The policy effective date.
- Expiration Date: The policy expiration date.
- General Liability
- Amount: Enter the coverage amount.
- Certificate: Protects the policyholder from court costs or damages if an employee, contractor, customer, or other business-related third party claims the business caused them bodily injury or harmed their property.
- Effective Date: The policy effective date.
- Expiration Date: The policy expiration date.
