Remove a Flag

A flag may need to be removed.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Flags security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.

IMPORTANT: Trimble strongly recommends that you do not remove a flag if there are any records associated with it. Instead, make the flag inactive to preserve the historical data associated with the flag.

  1. From the home page, click Permitting and click Flags.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. Select a flag from the Flags panel.
  2. Click Active to turn it off.

If no historical data is associated with the flag, remove it from the Flags panel.

  1. Select the desired flag and click Delete selected records.

If the Case Stop, Condition, and View Stop(Allowed Users) fields have not been cleared, an error displays.

  1. Click Delete on the Delete Flags panel.
