Clone a Notification Type

Notification types may be cloned.

PREREQUISITES: The Notification Type security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information. Alternately, on the Employee Relates page select Admin in the Module drop-down list and use the Fields drop-down list to select the notification permissions you want to add. See Admin Pages for more information. You must have notification fields set up for the information you want to pull from the database. See Notification Fields for more information.

1. From the home page, click Permitting or Configure and click Notification Types.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

2. On the Notification Types panel, select the notification type you want to clone and click Clone selected records.

3. On the Add Notification Type panel, enter a unique value in the Code field and update any other desired fields.

If the Email category is selected, you must enter a subject line using the Email Subject Line field.

4. Click Add.
