Clone a Department

You can create a department based on an existing one by cloning the desired department, then editing the new department to make it unique.

  1. From the home page, click Permitting then Organization Structure.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. On the Department panel, select a department and click Clone.

  1. In the New Department section, enter a unique Department Code and Department Name. Select a new organization from the drop-down list, if needed. Complete remaining fields with available information.
  2. Click Add.
