Organization Structure
The Organization Structure page is used to manage organizations, departments and divisions. Administrators to can create each level of their organization's architecture. The highest level is the organization level. Organizations are similar to domains within Trimble Unity Maintain. The organization is the overarching container for all users. Each organization contains its own security roles, case templates, and general configuration. Organizations are best used when complete distinction between two groups is necessary.
The next level is the department level. Departments are the principal branches of an organization and encompass primary jurisdictions or areas of responsibility such as building, code enforcement, finance, public works, etc.
Lastly is the division level. Divisions are subsections of a department and generally have a specific task, function, or responsibility.
