Add Category Values for a Work Order

Add Category Values that can be assigned to a work order.

  1. From the home page, click Admin and click Preferences.
  2. Click the Maintain tab.
  3. Expand the Category Values section on the Work Order panel.

Existing Category Values appear in the list.

  1. At the bottom of the Category Values section, enter the Code and Description.
  2. Turn on Active if you want this code to display in Trimble Unity.
  3. Click Add.

  1. For existing category values, turn off Active to make the category inactive, but maintain historical data associated with it.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. To remove a category, select it and click Delete selected records.

IMPORTANT: To preserve your historical data, it is recommended to make a code inactive rather than removing it.
