Add a Sub License

This section will discuss how to configure a new sub license.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Case License security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.
  • You must have a fee set up. See Fee Setup for more information.
  1. From the home page, click Permitting and click Sub Licenses.
  2. On the Sub Licenses panel, click Add record.

NOTE: Multiple records can be added or edited at the same time. See Perform a Bulk Export or Bulk Import for more information.

  1. Enter a 10-character (maximum) name for the sub license in the Code field.
  2. Enter a brief explanation in the Description field.
  3. In the Comments field, enter any specific information for the license. This may include requirements or regulations for issuing or obtaining the license in question and is often taken directly from a city code or other governing document.
  4. Select the Fee from the drop-down list to associate it to the license.

  1. Click Add or Add and New to add the sub license and create another one.
