Remove a Violation
A violation may need to be removed.
|
IMPORTANT: Trimble strongly recommends that you do not remove a violation if there are any records associated with it. Instead, make the violation inactive to preserve the historical data associated with it.
If the violation has already been associated with a case, the safe way to remove the violation from use is to deactivate it as follows:
- From the home page, click Permitting and click Violations Library.
TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.
- On the Violations panel, select the violation you want to remove.
- On the Violations Details panel, turn off the Active switch.
NOTE: Your changes are automatically saved, and the changes are verified by a notification at the bottom of the page.
If the violation has not been associated to one or more cases, you can remove it as follows:
- From the home page, click Permitting and click Violations Library.
- Select the violation you want to remove and click Delete selected records.
- Click Delete on the confirmation panel.
