Remove a Task Group

A task group may need to be removed.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The Task Group security function and its associated sub-functions must be selected for the security role you belong to. See Security Roles for more information.

IMPORTANT: Trimble strongly recommends that you do not remove a task group if there are any records associated with it. Instead, make the group inactive to preserve the historical data associated with the group.

  1. From the home page, click Permitting and click Workflow Setup.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. Click Edit on the far right of the task group.
  2. Click Active to turn it off.

If no historical data is associated with the task group, remove it from the Task Groups panel.

  1. Select the desired group and click Delete selected records.

  1. Click Delete on the confirmation panel.
