Compatibility and Specifications
This topic lists compatibility and specifications for Trimble Unity Maintain, Trimble Unity Permit, and Trimble Unity Field.
ArcGIS
ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 and 11.4 are the recommended versions.
ArcGIS Portal and Server must be externally reachable from the internet and not behind a firewall.
PC Client Specifications
The following specifications apply to Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit.
- Processor
- For 2D maps: Recent generation business-class Intel Core® processor 3 GHz or better (max turbo frequency)
- For 3D maps: Recent generation performance-class Intel Core® hyper-threading processor 4 GHz or better (max turbo frequency)
- System RAM
- For 2D maps: 4 GB system RAM (or better); 8 GB optimal
- For 3D maps: 8 GB system RAM; 16 GB optimal
- Operating System
- For 2D maps: Windows 10 (32/64-bit)
- For 3D maps: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Modern graphics hardware is recommended for 3D maps.
Browsers
The following specifications apply to Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit.

For security purposes, Trimble recommends keeping client browsers updated to the latest stable release. However, because browsers update frequently and without user prompting, if an issue arises that is determined to be the result of a browser update, we will endeavor to address it as we would any other issue of similar nature.
