Highlight Assets on the Map

Selected assets can be highlighted on the map.

1. Open the Analytics Dashboard page.

NOTE: The first time you open Operational Insights, you need to add any apps or pages you need or want to access. For example, use the Route menu option to add a menu item that navigates to the Asset Strategy, Asset Curve, and other pages. See Add Menu Items and Edit Item Fields for more information.

2. Select the desired Asset Group and Asset Type. Once these fields are selected, the group and type are remembered across all pages of Operational Insights.
3. Select the desired calculation definition. For more information on configuring a calculation definition, see Asset Calculations.
4. If needed, open the map.

5. In the work management view, click a section of a chart to select it.
6. Click Highlight on the Asset Calculation Dashboard panel to highlight the selected assets on the map.

NOTE: Use <Ctrl + click> to select multiple sections of a chart at a time.

The assets are highlighted on the map. Using that selection, you can create and search work activities attached to those assets.

7. Click Clear to clear the highlighted assets from the map.
