Asset Calculations Fields
The following is a list of fields and icons found on the Asset Calculations page.
NOTE: When information is calculated, it will be displayed as a list in the panel. Most panels list the first 10 records. Use the arrow icons in the lower-right corner of the panel to view more records. Next to the arrows, the number of records displayed is shown, as well as the total number of calculated records.
- Asset Group: Select the desired asset group to view or add calculation definitions.
- Asset Type: Select the desired asset type to view or add calculation definitions.
- Add: Click to add a new calculation definition.
- Name: Enter a name for the calculation definition.
- Asset Strategy: Select the asset strategy to use with the calculation definition.
- Asset Curve: Select the asset curve to use with the calculation definition.
- Comments: Enter any comments about the calculation definition, if desired.
- Date Modified: This is the date that the calculation definition was last edited.
- Date Calculated: This is the date that the definition was last calculated.
- Save: Click to save the calculation definition.
- Delete: Click to remove the selected calculation definition.
- Calculate: Click to calculate the asset results based on the asset and maintenance strategies selected.
- Maintenance Strategy: Select the desired maintenance strategy to associate with the calculation definition. More than one maintenance strategy can be selected.
- Add: Click to add the selected maintenance strategy.
- Delete: Click to remove the selected maintenance strategy from the calculation definition.
- UID: The unique ID of the asset.
- POF: Probability of Failure; the likelihood that an asset will fail.
- COF: Consequence of Failure; the impact of the asset's failure.
- RM: Risk Mitigation; the efforts taken to reduce the impact of the asset's failure.
- BRE: Business Risk Exposure; this is calculated by multiplying the Probability of Failure by the Consequence of Failure by the Risk Mitigation (BRE = POF × COF × RM).
- MSPU: Under-maintained Proactive Maintenance Score; the percentage that the asset is under-maintained. The percentage is shown as a decimal value. For example, if the value is 1, that means there hasn't been any proactive maintenance done on the asset, only reactive (the asset is 100% under-maintained). If the value is .77, that means the asset is 77% under-maintained (there has been some proactive maintenance done).
- MSPO: Over-maintained Proactive Maintenance Score; the percentage that the asset is over-maintained. The percentage is shown as a decimal value. For example, if the value is 0, that means the asset has never been over-maintained.
- MSR: Reactive Maintenance Score; the percentage of reactive work that has been performed on the asset. The percentage is calculated based on the Threshold defined for the asset type as part of the maintenance strategy (the number of times that your organization performs a type of reactive work on the asset). The percentage is shown as a decimal value. For example, if the Threshold is defined as 3 on the maintenance strategy and this column shows a 0, that means none of the reactive work activities have been done. A value of .33 means that 1 reactive work activity has been done, a value of .66 means that 2 reactive work activities have been done, and a value of 100 means all 3 reactive work activities have been done and the asset has met its Threshold.
- Average End Year: The average end year of the calculation result.
- Fast End Year: The fast end year of the calculation result.
- Slow End Year: The slow end year of the calculation result.
- Error Log: If any of the GIS data is missing, a message is shown in the error log column. Missing data could make the calculation inaccurate.
- X Coordinate: The asset's X coordinate.
- Y Coordinate: The asset's Y coordinate.
- Longitude: The longitude of the asset.
- Latitude: The latitude of the asset.
- Filter records: Click to quickly filter the list of fields in the panel.
- Export CSV: Click to export the calculation results as a .csv file.
- Column Menu: Click to modify the columns shown on the panel.
- Save to GIS: Click to save the calculation results to the GIS. This is only enabled if the user or the group the user is in has Attribute or Geometry GIS rights. If this is not enabled, the GIS right is set to View Only. See Add or Edit a Group in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.
