Configure Proactive Templates

Proactive work is preventative, regularly-scheduled maintenance. This can include activities like inspecting or flushing pipes, painting lane lines, etc.

  1. Open the Maintenance Strategy page.

NOTE: The first time you open Operational Insights, you need to add any apps or pages you need or want to access. For example, use the Route menu option to add a menu item that navigates to the Asset Strategy, Asset Curve, and other pages. See Add Menu Items and Edit Item Fields for more information.

  1. Select the desired Asset Group and Asset Type. Once these fields are selected, the group and type are remembered across all pages of Operational Insights.
  1. Select the desired maintenance strategy and click the Proactive Templates tab.
  2. Click Add.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. Select the desired templates that are used for proactive work and click Add.
  1. Select the proactive template to edit it.
