Import Files from Trimble Unity to PAVER

Files can be exported from Trimble Unity and imported into PAVER. These files are exported from Trimble Unity in a .zip file.

  1. Open PAVER.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow next to Inventory.
  3. Navigate to GIS/Tabular Import and Update > Add Inventory from GIS/Tabular Data.

  1. Select CSV Comma Separated Values.

  1. Click Browse. Browse to your inventory CSV file.

  1. Click Open.
  2. Click Next. Verify that field names are valid.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Finish.

The Results window opens showing the items added.

  1. Close the Results panel.
  1. Open PAVER.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow next to Inspection.
  3. Navigate to FieldInspector™/ImageInspector™ Data Import Wizard.

Inspections help calculate Pavement Condition Index (PCI) scores.

NOTE: Inspections are in an .xml file.

  1. Click Browse.

  1. Browse to the folder.
  2. Click OK. Any .xml files will be listed.
  3. Select the .xml file you need.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Finish.
  6. Click Close.
  1. Click the drop-down arrow next to Work and select Add Work History from GIS/Tabular Data.

  1. Select CSV Comma Separated Values.

  1. Click Browse.
  2. Select the file.
  3. Click Open.

  1. Click Next. Verify that field names are valid.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Click Finish.
  4. Click Close.
