Change Layer Opacity

Opacity refers to the transparency of the layer. A layer must be selected from the Legend to activate this tool. Adjust the opacity to see more or less of what's below this layer.

PREREQUISITES: Event layers must be made visible in the Legend map tool to be selected on the map. See Event Layers for more information.

1. Click Legend in the map toolbar.
2. Click Content.
3. Select a layer.
4. Use the slider bar at the bottom of the Legend map tool to adjust the transparency.
