Routing Fields

The following fields are found on the Routing map tool.

• Options
• Find best sequence: Select to optimize the route in the most efficient order. You can still reorder the route with this selected.
• Preserve first stop: Select to keep the first stop as the first stop in the route when it's optimized.
• Preserve last stop: Select to keep the last stop as the last stop in the route when it's optimized.
• Add from activity
• Activity type drop-down list: Select the type of work activity from the drop-down list.
• Activity id: Enter the ID of the work activity and click Add to add it to the route.
• Add from layer
• Layer drop-down list: Click to select any map layer, visible on the map, from the drop-down list. Click Add to add it to the route. For example, you can select events from event layers to get a route to them.
• Find address or place: Click to search for an address or add your current location to the route.
• Pick a location on the map: Click to add a location to the route by selecting a point on the map.
• Add stop: Click to include another stop along the route.
• Edit route: Select to modify the route to automatically or manually solve any barriers or flagged stops along the route.
• Departure time: Select whether you are leaving now, departing on a specific day and time, or the time is unknown.
• Optimize order: Select to optimize your route.
• Preserve first stop: Select to keep the first stop as the first stop in the route when it's optimized.
• Preserve last stop: Select to keep the last stop as the last stop in the route when it's optimized.
