Exclude a Layer

You can exclude various layers in order to see exactly what you need to in the slice.

PREREQUISITES: An existing slice must be created. See Create a New Slice for more information.

1. From the Slice panel, click Exclude layer.
2. Select a layer on the map to exclude it from your slice. For example, the floor, windows, doors, walls, furniture, etc.

Whatever you select is not included in the slice, this means it stays in place. For example, if you chose to exclude the ground, you do not see the basement floor under the ground in your slice.

3. Click the X next to a layer in the Excluded layers list to remove the layer. Once removed, the layer is included in your slice.
