Edit Attachment Fields

The following fields are found on the Edit Attachment panel:

PREREQUISITES:

  • Users must have the User Tag permission selected under the End User security role and Case User section in Admin. See Security Roles in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.
  • Permissions for creating, adding, or removing tags for work orders, inspections, and service requests must be added in Admin in Employee Relates > Relates. See Assign Permissions to Employees and Permission Fields in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.

NOTE: Some fields have visible character max limits. The first number is the current count of how many characters have been used. The second number is the max characters allowed in the field.

  • Title: Enter a title for the attachment. The Title appears in the Attachments panel instead of the file name. This field only appears when you are editing an individual attachment.
  • Description: Enter a description about the attachment.
  • Add Tag: Select an existing tag to quickly identify the attachment.
  • Create Tag: Enter a new tag and click Save to add it to the Add Tag drop-down list.
