Add a GIS Alert

You can add a GIS alert from the GIS Alerts panel on the case summary page.

PREREQUISITES: To see alerts, users must have the View permission selected under GIS Alerts in Admin. See Security Roles in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information. The administrator must add the GIS Alert control to the case template. See Configure Controls on a Case Template in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.

1. Open a case and navigate to the GIS Alerts panel.
2. Click Add record to open the Add GIS Alert panel.

3. In Asset, select the address associated with the case to add an alert.
4. Notes allows you to enter any additional information concerning the alert.
5. Click the check box by the desired GIS alert(s).
6. Select the Display Flag check box to display the alert(s) across the top of the case after any flags. An overflow option displays when items do not fit the screen size.
7. Click Save.
