Use Comments on Checklists

Comments display as expandable threaded conversations, showing the latest comment and date at the top, and allowing users to reply to existing threads or start new ones. You can edit, remove, format, reply to, and add user mentions to existing comments or add new comments on checklists from the Edit Task panel or Task Manager.

PREREQUISITES:

  • To see checklists, users must have the View permission selected under Case Corrections in Admin. See Security Roles in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.

NOTE:

  • Saved comments include the login ID and date/time details of the person who added the comment.
  • If notifications are enabled, mentioning a user with @ in a comment triggers a notification.
