Add an HTML Widget

The HTML widget displays media from external online sources using either a URL or HTML.

PREREQUISITES:
  1. Click Dashboard.
  2. Click Page actions in the activity toolbar and click Dashboard Management.

NOTE: The most-recently-viewed dashboards display. To quickly switch between recently-viewed dashboards, see Switch Between Dashboards for more information.

The Dashboard Management page opens.

  1. Click the edit icon in the Dashboards panel.
  2. On the Dashboard - Edit page, click the add icon.

The Add Widget panel opens.

  1. Select HTML.
  1. Select URL.
  2. Enter or copy and paste a URL in the URL field.

  1. Click Save.
  1. Select HTML.
  2. Enter HTML in the HTML field. Scripts, written in JavaScript, can be added using the <script> tags.

NOTE: A preview appears to the right on the Add Widget panel that dynamically changes as you enter HTML for the widget.

  1. Click Save.

NOTE: When adding a URL, using the URL or HTML option, the URL is compared against the allowlist before being set on the widget. See CORS Whitelist in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.
