Query Action Types
Query actions allow users to interact with widgets on a dashboard. Different query actions appear depending on the type of query selected for a widget. For example, if the query is a work order, only the Open WO(s) query action is available from the Actions drop-down list. See Add a Widget for more information on adding a widget to a Dashboard and setting actions for a widget.
The following query actions are available for the query types listed.
Common Query Actions
The following common actions are available across many query types:
Case
- Open Case(s)
- Show Permit Case(s) on Map
- Open Related WO(s)
Inspection
- Open Inspection(s)
- Show Insp(s) on Map
Service Request
- Open SR(s)
- Show SR(s) on Map
Work Order
- Open WO(s)
- Show WO(s) on Map
Work Order Entity Query
The following actions are available when a Work Order Entity query is used in a widget.
- Open Associated WO(s)
- Highlight on Map
GIS Feature or GIS Object Query
The following actions are available when a GIS Feature or GIS Object query is used in a table, map, or count widget.
- Open in Asset Details
- Create WO(s)
- Create Inspection(s)
- Create Permit Case(s)
- Create Service Request(s)
- Highlight on map (this is based on the entity type and object ID)
- Add to Activities
Contract Query
The following actions are available when a Contract query is used in a widget.
- Open in Asset Details
- Open Contract(s) (this option is hidden unless the user is licensed for OpX)
- Open Associated WO(s)
- Show Contract(s) on Map
Project Query
The following actions are available when a Project query is used in a widget.
- Open in Asset Details
- Open Related WO(s)
- Open Related Insp(s)
- Open Related Cases(s)
- Open Related SR(s)
- Open Project(s) (this option is hidden unless the user is licensed for OpX)
- Show Projects on Map
