Add a Map Layer

You can add any map layer to your route using the center of a point, line, or polygon.

1. Click Routing in the map toolbar.
2. Click Add from layer drop-down list.
3. Select a layer from the drop-down list.

NOTE: Only event layers set as visible in the Legend and Event Layers map tools, and containing records returned in the search, are displayed in the drop-down list.

4. Click Add.

A route to the location of the selected map layer displays.

NOTE: Trimble Unity doesn't control how event layers display when zoomed in or out. Trimble Unity adds the layer to the map and Esri logic controls the display.
