Insert a Subreport

A subreport is a report that references the main report.

PREREQUISITES:

  • A user must be assigned to the WORKMGR > Report Designer employee relate in order to access and create reports on the Reports page. See Assign Permissions to Employees in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information
  1. Create a new report and create any parameters needed. See Create a Report and Create a Parameter for more information.
  2. Once the main report is set up, create a new report to be the subreport.
  3. In this new report, put in the table you want to display for your data.

  1. Parameters for this report need to be added, the same as was set up in the main report.
  2. Save the sub report.
  3. Open the main report.
  4. Click and drag the Subreport icon and drop it where you want it on the main report.

  1. Click the Subreport box and the subreport properties appear on the right.

  1. Name the subreport.
  2. In the name, click the down arrow and choose the subreport.
  3. Now you can customize the report the way you want it.
