Theme and Theme Preview Panel Fields

The following fields are found on the Theme panel and correspond with the preview view in the Theme Preview panel.

  • Base Theme: Choose a base color scheme to modify and create a custom theme from. Choose from a Light or Dark base.
  • App Background: This changes the entire background of the app.
  • App Bar Background: This changes the background color of the bar at the top of the page. This tends to be where the name of the app (i.e., Trimble Unity Style), function menus, and icons (i.e., the map) are located.
  • App Bar Text: This changes any text found in the bar at the top of the page, such as Trimble Unity Style in the Style app.
  • Primary Color: This changes the primary color used for buttons, charts, tables, check boxes, and option buttons.
  • Text on Primary: This changes the color of text that appears on Primary Color backgrounds.
  • Accent Color: This changes the color that accents the Primary Color used for buttons, charts, tables, check boxes, and option buttons.
  • Text on Accent: This changes the color of text that appears on Accent backgrounds.
  • Warn Color: This changes the color that is used for warning buttons, charts, dates, drop-down lists, check boxes, and option buttons.
  • Text on Warn: This changes the color of text that appears on Warn backgrounds.
  • Card Background: This changes the background color of panels.
  • Primary Text: This changes the general text throughout all panels (e.g., headers), buttons, tables, etc. Some text is customizable with other fields in the Theme panel.
  • Secondary Text: This changes the accent text throughout panels, such as field labels, content within fields and lists, inactive option buttons or check boxes, inactive tabs in tables, etc. Some text is customizable with other fields in the Theme panel.
  • Hint Text: This changes any text that gives hints about the field. For example, maybe a number field has to have the number entered in a specific format.
  • Disabled Background: This changes the background of the field that is disabled.
  • Disabled Text: This changes the text on buttons that are disabled.
  • Active Icon: The changes the color of icons that are active. Most icons are active by default, but there are some that are inactive by default.
  • Inactivate Icon: This changes the color of icons that are inactive. For example, in some panels in Respond, the remove icon is inactive until a user selects something in the panel to remove; then the icon becomes active.
  • Subtle Divider: This changes the color or adds a color to items in a table or in multi-select fields.
  • Moderate Divider: This changes the color or adds a color around fields in a panel.
  • Strong Divider: This changes the color or adds a color to items to items at the bottom of fields in a panel.
  • Overlay Background: This changes the color or adds a color over the page when viewing a panel that opens when a button or icon is clicked. Change or add a color and click one of the buttons in the Button Panel of the Theme Preview panel to view this change.
  • Dialog Background: This changes the color of the background of the panel that opens when a button or icon is clicked. Change or add a color and click one of the buttons in the Button Panel of the Theme Preview panel to view this change.
  • Dialog Text: This changes the color of the buttons and name of the panel that opens when a button or icon is clicked. Change or add a color and click one of the buttons in the Button Panel of the Theme Preview panel to view this change.
  • Dialog Panel Background: This changes the color of the body text background of the panel that opens when a button or icon is clicked. Change or add a color and click one of the buttons in the Button Panel of the Theme Preview panel to view this change. This also modifies the background of hierarchies in the Advanced Panel of the Theme Preview panel.
  • Dialog Panel Text:This changes the color of the body text in the panel that opens when a button or icon is clicked. Change or add a color and click one of the buttons in the Button Panel of the Theme Preview panel to view this change.
  • Tooltip Background: This changes the background color of the tooltip.
  • Tooltip Text: This changes the text color of the tooltip.
  • Selection Background: This changes the background color (e.g., highlight) of items selected in tables or hierarchies.
  • Selection Text: This changes the color of text for selected items in tables or hierarchies.
  • Table Header Background: This changes the color of table headers.
  • Table Header Text: This changes the color of table header text.
  • Table Body Background: This changes the background color of items in a table that are not selected.
  • Table Body Text: This changes the text color of items in a table that are not selected.
  • Toolbar Background: This changes the background of the toolbar in lists. This can be viewed in the Advanced Panel of the Theme Preview panel.
