Configure GIS Integrations
When a GIS Integration is set up, it enables you to automatically log in to another GIS product, like Arcgis Online. When logged in with Trimble ID and one or more GIS Integrations, all GIS tokens from the GIS integrations are registered with the ArcGIS Identity Manager. Trimble Identity content is currently visible but you can only use it after it is made available.
- From the home page, click Admin and click TID Configuration.
- Click Add record in the Manage GIS Integrations panel.
- Enter the GIS Integration Name. This is case sensitive.
- Enter the GIS Integration Display Text. This is what the user sees after logging in.
- Click Save GIS Integration.
After GIS integrations are added, one can be selected from the Default GIS Integration Name on the TID Configuration panel to make it the default.
Now the integration can be assigned to a domain, group, or a user.
- Select the GIS Integration to assign.
- Click Add record under Domain, Group, or User GIS Integration Assignments sections.
- Select the desired domains, groups, or users from the drop-down lists and click Add.
Trimble Unity first checks for a user-assigned GIS integration. If none is found, it looks for a group GIS integration. Finally, if neither of those exists, it applies the domain GIS integration.
- To edit a GIS integration, select it from the Manage Staging GIS Integrations section and click Edit GIS Integration.
