Edit Asset Details

The attributes of an asset can be edited from the Details section.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The user must have Attributes or Geometry edit rights to edit attributes. See Groups in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.

  • The first time you open Respond, you need to add any apps or pages you need or want to access. For example, use the Route menu option to add a menu item that navigates to the Asset Details, License Management tool, and other pages. See Add Menu Items and Edit Item Fields for more information.

  • To edit utility network attributes, a user needs a Professional user type (Standard or Plus) or a Creator user type combined with an ArcGIS Utility Network extension license. See the Professional User Type and Creator User Type on Esri's website. The required license depends on the specific user type and your ArcGIS Enterprise version, with the Professional type including the utility network extension by default, as noted by Esri. Please consult directly with your Esri representative regarding evolving standards and other pertinent details.
  1. Open the Asset Details page.

  1. Select an asset from the Assets panel. If needed, see Add Assets or for more information.
  2. Click View Details.

  1. Click Edit in the Attributes tab.

  1. Enter or change information for the desired fields.
  2. Click Save.
