Add an Address
Adding an address to a case allows you to geolocate the data on a map. If the administrator has configured it, when an asset is added as an address, any people associated to that asset are automatically added to the People panel. See Configure GIS Data Fields in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information. The Address panel displays address data for the case.
- Open the map and select one or more assets. See Selection for more information.
- On the work management window, navigate to the Address panel.
- Click Add record to open the Address Add panel.
- If no asset(s) are shown in the Asset from Map list, click Load Selected Assets From Map.
TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.
- Select the desired asset(s) and click Add.
The address and location information automatically populates the Address panel. From here you can remove, view, and search addresses as well as highlight an address on the map. See Address in the case summary page for more information.
