Add a Child Asset

Child relationships can be added to a change out.

PREREQUISITES: In order to add a child relationship to the selected asset, that asset must have related objects configured.

1. Open Equipment Change Out. See Open Equipment Change Out for more information.
2. Select the asset.
3. Click Add.

4. Select the Child Type.
5. If you're adding a new entity, enter a Child Uid for the new entity if desired and click Verify.
6. If you're adding an existing entity, select an asset from the Available Child Assets section.
7. Click Select.

8. Enter the asset information on the Add Child Asset panel.
9. Click Stage to add the action to the Staged Operations panel to save at a later time.
10. Click Save to commit the action now.
