Customize Map Tools Based on the Plugin

The map tools are customizable at the site level (any changes made are seen by all users) as well as the individual plugin level (only users associated to the plugin see the changes made). This topic covers how to customize the map tools at the individual plugin level.

PREREQUISITES: You must select a plugin to customize. See Select a Plugin to Customize for more information.

1. After selecting the Plugin and Profile, select the map tool from the Layout drop-down list. For example, select Map: Selection from the Layout drop-down list to customize the Selection map tool.

This allows you to customize each map tool individually by changing text labels or make a control visible or not.

NOTE: The Map: Map layout allows you to customize the map toolbar.
