Remove a Widget

You can remove an existing widget applied to a plugin on a specific layout.

PREREQUISITES:

  • A widget must be configured. See Add a Widget for more information.

IMPORTANT: Adding and configuring a widget is currently available for the Case Summary, Case Object - Detail, Work Order Edit, and Service Request Edit layouts with the Respond plugin selected.

  1. Select the plugin that has the widget you want to remove, such as Respond. See Select a Plugin to Customize for more information.
  2. Select the page from the Layout drop-down list in the Profile panel.

Notice the Widget Slots panel populates with the containers or "areas" (for the selected layout) that has been enabled, by a Trimble Unity developer, and any configured widgets.

  1. Select the widget you want to remove.
  2. Click Delete Widget.

  1. Click Delete Forever on the confirmation panel.
  2. Click Save Profile on the Profile panel to save changes to the profile.
  1. Select the plugin that has the widget you want to remove, such as Respond. See Select a Plugin to Customize for more information.
  2. Select the page from the Layout drop-down list in the Profile panel.
  3. Find the widget in the Controls panel and select it.
  4. Click Remove Widget in the Control Details panel.

  1. Click Delete Forever on the confirmation panel.
  2. Click Save Profile on the Profile panel to save changes to the profile.
