Unlock an Employee

If a user has entered the wrong password to log in enough times to be temporarily locked out, and they've entered the wrong answer in the Password Recovery Wizard five times, the employee is locked out until the domain administrator can unlock them.

  1. From the home page, click Admin and click Employees.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

  1. Select the employee from the Employees panel.
  2. In the User section, click Unlock.

A user who logs in with Trimble Identity's password much be managed through Trimble Identity.

PREREQUISITES:
  • To unlock a user, you must have Trimble ID configured for your user and be assigned an IAM (Identity and Access Management) role of Owner or Secondary Owner. See Create a Trimble ID and Assign a Role for Trimble ID for more information.
  1. From the home page, click Admin and click Employees.

  1. Select the employee from the Employees panel and click the Trimble Cloud tab.
  2. Click TID Account-level data & security.

The Data & Security page opens in a new browser tab.

  1. Click Select users on the Unlock Accounts panel.

  1. Enter an email and press Enter.
  1. Click Unlock accounts.
