Set Trimble ID Password Requirements and Authentication Policy

In the Security section in Preferences, Trimble ID administrators need to set up account-level authentication policies, such as password length, complexity, history, and multi-factor authentication requirements.

PREREQUISITES:

  1. From the home page, click Admin and click Preferences.
  2. Expand the Security section.
  3. Click TID Account-level data & security.

The Data & Security page opens in a new browser tab.

The default security policies appear in the Authentication Policy Settings panel.

  1. Click Change requirements to change the security policies for any users who set up passwords for their Trimble ID.
