Add Material to Existing Work Orders

If an asset type keyword is associated to a material in Storeroom, then material can be quickly added to a work order when viewing details of that asset type when it is selected on the map.

PREREQUISITES: The asset type's code must be added as a keyword to a material in Storeroom. See Add a Keyword to a Material in the Storeroom Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain for more information. The selected asset must be associated to an open work order. See Create an Attached Work Order for more information.

1. Open the Asset Details page.

TIP: You can filter the list of records displayed. See Filter Records for more information.

2. Select an asset or multiple assets from the Assets panel.
3. Click View Details.

The Asset Details panel opens.

4. Select the desired asset from the Asset drop-down list.
5. Click the Materials tab.
6. Select the material you want to add to a work order from the Asset Materials section.
7. Select the work order from the Work Orders section.
8. Select the storeroom the stock is coming from in the Storeroom Stock section.
9. Enter the Quantity.
10. Click Add to Work Order.
