Use Attachments on a Task

You can add, view, or remove attachments on specific tasks as well as capture a signature for inspections and apply labels to specific attachments.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Users must have the User Tag permission selected under the End User security role and Case User section in Admin. See Security Roles in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.
  1. Open a case and navigate to the Workflow panel.
  2. Click Edit Task to the right of the task to open the Edit Task panel.

  1. Click Rel Docs at the bottom of the panel to open the related documents section.

From here, you can filter existing records, add new records, remove one or all records, change the number of visible rows, apply labels to specific records, and capture a signature for inspections. See Attachments for more information.

  1. Open a case.
  2. From the activity toolbar, click Workflow to open the Workflow page.

  1. Click Edit Task to the right of the task to open the Edit Task panel.

You can use Task Manager to open related documents on a task.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The first time you open Respond, you need to add any apps or pages you need or want to access. For example, use the Route menu option to add a menu item that navigates to the Asset Details, License Management tool, and other pages. See Add Menu Items and Edit Item Fields for more information.
  1. Open Task Manager and perform a search. See Search for Tasks for more information on performing a search.
  2. Click Related Documents to open the related documents section.

NOTE: Changes have been made to how attachments are stored. The storage location for attachments is S3.
