Task Manager Fields
The Task Manager page and items on the page can be customized using Style. See Style Customization in the Style Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information. The following fields are found in the Task Manager panel.
TIP: A yellow dot by an option along the bottom of each task indicates there is a record available for that option.

- Login Id: This field automatically displays the login ID of the current user. This field can be changed by choosing another user from the drop-down list. You can also clear the Login Id field to search for tasks based on the Date Range.
- Date Range: Select the calendar icon. A panel opens and defaults to today's date, but can be changed.
- Today: This shows any tasks with a target start date of the current date.
- This Week: This shows any tasks with a target start date within the current week.
- This Month: This shows any tasks with a target start date within the current month.
- This Year: This shows any tasks with a target start date within the current year.
- Date Start and Date End: Use the calendar icon next to the fields to select a custom time period. This shows any tasks with a target start date within the selected date range.

- Search: Begin typing in the search field to narrow the result list.
- Available: This only includes tasks that are available to be worked on (for example, in an open milestone, not closed due to a flag, etc.).
- Completed: This only includes tasks that are complete.
- Review: Select to show Review task types in the results.
- Inspection: Select to show Inspection task types in the results.
- Hearing: Select to show Hearing task types in the results.
- Add map pins: With the map open, select this to add pins to the map for the task.
- Remove map pins: With the map open, select this to remove any pins on the map.
- Navigate to tasks: When you select this with the map open, Respond prompts you to open the map's routing tool, which gives you a route using the task data. See the Routing section for more information.
- Highlight on map: When you select this with the map open, a pin is added and the asset is centered on the map.
- Result: Select a result for the task from the drop-down list.

NOTE: Some fields have visible character max limits. The first number is the current count of how many characters have been used. The second number is the max characters allowed in the field.
- Assigned To: This automatically populates with the employee assigned to the task. To change the employee, click the drop-down list to select an employee.
- Target Start Date: This field automatically displays the estimated start date and time of the task. To change the target start date and time, either enter the date manually, double-click to insert today's date, or select a date from the calendar.
- Target End Date: This field automatically displays the estimated completion date and time of the task. To change the target end date and time, either enter the date manually, double-click to insert today's date, or select a date from the calendar.
- Unit: Specifies a location by unit number.
NOTE: The Assigned To and Target End Date fields can be changed at any time because they are saved independently of the task result.
- Actual Start Date: Enter the date manually, double-click to insert today's date, or select a date from the calendar.
- Actual End Date: Enter the date manually, double-click to insert today's date, or select a date from the calendar.
- Completed By: This field automatically displays the login ID of the current user. This field can be changed by clicking the drop-down list and selecting a new user's ID.
- Date Completed: This field automatically displays the current date. To update either enter the date manually, double-click to insert today's date, or select a date from the calendar.
- Location Notes: Notes about the exact location of the case.
- Comments: Click to add comments to the task. See Comments for more information.
- Checklists: Click to add checklist items to workflow tasks. See Checklists for more information.
- Time Accounting: Click to add time accounting to the task. See Time Accounting for more information.
- Related Documents: Click to add a related document or attachment to the task. See Attachments for more information.
- Inspection History: Click to view the inspection history of this task. See View Inspection History and Related Activities for more information.
- Related Activities: Click to view activities related to this task. See View Inspection History and Related Activities for more information.
- Task Reports: Click to add a task level report to this task. See Task Reports for more information.
