Create a Profile

You can create profiles for specific groups or individuals. For example, you can create a profile for the water crew and another profile for water supervisors.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The first time you open Style, you need to add any apps or pages you need or want to access. For example, use the Route menu option to add a menu item that navigates to the Theme Editor, Profile Editor, and other pages. See Add Menu Items and Edit Item Fields for more information.

  1. Open the profile editor.
  2. Select a plugin from the Plugin drop-down list.
  3. Click Create Profile.

The Create Profile panel opens.

  1. Enter Simplified View as the New Profile Name.
  2. Select the profile you want to Clone From to create the new profile.
  3. In the Clone From drop-down list, select the default (built-in) profile.

  1. Click Create Profile.

The new profile is automatically saved and can be defined on the Plugin Profiles page in Admin. See Define a Profile in Admin in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.

  1. Add a description about how the profile should or can be used. See Add a Profile Description for more information.
  2. If necessary, use Delete Profile to remove a profile from the list. This is helpful if a profile is no longer needed.
