Smart Forms and Workflows

Smart Forms, also known as forms or associated forms, are fully customizable forms that can be replicated across different work activities. For example, regulatory or safety forms that apply to many work activities only need to be created once, then can be associated to an inspection, service request, or work order template.

Workflows allow an administrator to define the progression of a work activity (work orders, service requests, and custom inspections) by initiating actions that change its status. It provides a guided path for users, dynamically displaying only the actions and statuses available based on the current stage of the activity. Smart forms can be linked with actions in the workflow, for example, if a user selects Rejected, the system can automatically require a form to be filled out to define exactly why it was rejected.
