Schedule an Inspection

Inspections may only be scheduled when the corresponding task becomes available in the workflow and when the case status for the case is configured to allow inspections to be scheduled.

NOTE: Inspections can only be scheduled on the Workflow panel on the case summary page.

PREREQUISITES:

  • The user must belong to a security role that has the appropriate security function enabled. See Security Functions in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.
  • A task type of Inspection needs to be available. See Complete a Task to mark tasks as complete and make the next tasks available.
  • A case's status may need to be a specific status in order to schedule inspections; ask your administrator for more details. See Configure Required Items on a Case Template in the Admin Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.

TIP: See Schedule an Inspection on Trimble Unity for a quick start guide on this subject.
