The menu is customizable and allows a user to navigate to various built-in pages, work activities, and more depending on the items added to the menu. Some menu items are added by default. See Customize Menus for more information about the menu.

1. Click Main menu to expand or collapse the menu.

NOTE: When the menu is collapsed, users only see icons. When the menu is expanded, users see the icons along with text.

2. Click items in the menu to access My Apps, create work orders, service requests, inspections, and cases, view and update tasks using Task Manager, open a dashboard, or open recently viewed work activities.

NOTE: If users are viewing the work activities under Recent on a computer, and a description is longer than the menu is wide, hover over the activity to see the entire description.

The main toolbar allows users to access app settings, perform searches, find help information, open and close the map, and log out.

1. Click Work activity search to perform a quick search, open the Basic Search panel, or open the Query Editor (i.e., Advanced Search) page. See Perform a Search for more information.
2. Click Unity AI to have a search submitted as a query. See Unity AI for more information.
3. Click Notifications. See Notifications for more information.
4. Click Download Status. See Manage the ActiveReports Download Queue for more information.
5. Click Settings to select a domain or organization, profile, language, theme, and to customize the menu.
6. Click Help. See Access Online Help for more information.
7. Click Profile to log out or change your password.
8. Click Show map options to open the map in full screen, split the screen between the work management window and the map, or close the map. See Map for more information.

NOTE: The map contains a visual representation of the geographic extent that your Trimble Unity site and organization work in.

The activity toolbar changes depending on what page you are using and includes the ability to expand and collapse panels at once.

• Pages related to the activity being viewed.
• Access additional pages related to the activity being viewed.
• Expand All
• Collapse All
• These actions change depending on the activity being viewed.

1. Use Expand All Panels or Collapse All Panels to expand and collapse all panels on a work activity. See Collapse or Expand Panels for more information.

When viewing work activities, they may include actions such as Save, Close, Delete, and Reopen, as well as links to pages related to the work activity.

NOTE: Work activity page breadcrumbs, such as related-child pages, can be hidden from the work activity menu using Style. See Make a Control or Panel Visible in the Style Guide for Trimble Unity Maintain and Trimble Unity Permit for more information.

2. When viewing the dashboard, click Page actions to change between dashboards or access Dashboard Management. See Dashboard Management for more information.
