View Work Activity Details

You can view work activity details by tapping on a summary card.

NOTE: The fields that appear on work activity detail pages follow the Respond mobile profile configured by your administrator. Fields marked as not visible in that profile do not appear in Trimble Unity Field. If a profile is not configured, all fields remain visible. You can perform actions and view information about a work activity on the work activity details page.

  1. Tap a work activity.

The work activity page opens, displaying Quick Menu Actions and pages.

  • Zoom: Tap to zoom to the work activity on the map.
  • Directions: Tap to get directions to the work activity.
  • Attach: Tap to add an attachment to the work activity.
  • Sync: Tap to perform a sync.
  • More: Tap to access more actions. If there are more than two actions available for the activity, the third and fourth are shown under this menu.
  • Create Related Activity: Tap to create a related work activity. This action is only available for work orders, service requests, inspections, and cases.
  • Locate: Tap to utilize advanced locate for the work activity using GPS.
  • Web: Tap to open the work activity in the web application.
  • Save: Tap to save changes made to the work activity.

  1. Tap a work activity page to view more information and fields. See Standard Work Activity Forms for more information.
  • Menu icon: Tap to view the list of pages. Tap a page to navigate to it.
  • Next arrow: Tap to navigate to the next page.
  • Back arrow: Tap to navigate to the previous page.
  • Swipe left and right: Swipe left or right on the screen with a finger to navigate between pages.
  • Done: Tap to exit the page and return to the work activity details page.

You can view assets associated to the work activity.

  1. Tap a work activity.
  2. Tap Associated Assets.

A list of all assets associated with the work activity appear.

See Associated Assets for more information on how to add associated assets to a work activity.

NOTE: If an associated asset is unavailable in the currently active web map or offline map area, certain actions (e.g. Take Action, Map icon) are unavailable. Tapping the asset card displays an error message instead of opening the Asset Details page.

  • Outside of Currently Active Web Map: If the associated asset is not included in the current web map's available features, a message appears explaining the asset cannot be displayed because its corresponding GIS feature layer is not included in the currently active web map.
  • Offline Map Area: If the associated asset is not available in the offline area, a message appears explaining to sync or download the relevant map area to view the asset details.

You can view activities related to the work activity, including hierarchical child work activities. See Manage Linked Activities for more information. This action is only available for work orders, service requests, and inspections.

  1. Tap a work activity.
  2. Tap Related Cases, Related Inspections, Related Service Requests, or Related Work Orders to view associated activities.

Child work activities display directly within these lists with a dedicated Child badge.
