Create a Related Work Activity
You can create a work activity from the main panel of the work activity or from the Related Activities page.
|
NOTE: When you create a related activity, it creates a child work order, inspection, service request, or permit.

- Open a work activity.
- Click Create Related Activity from the Work Order panel on a work order, the Inspection Details panel on an inspection, the Service Request panel on a service request, or the Main panel on a case.
- Click the desired work activity from the drop-down list.
NOTE: A child work order can contain one or more selected assets from the parent work order.
NOTE: If the service request template is not associated to any work order templates, any work order template can be used, and any entity type may be selected. If the service request template is already associated to one or more work order templates, then the entity type is automatically set, and work order templates are selected from the work order type.
